Host / Hostess
We are a fine dining Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Highland Park, seeking an experienced host/hostess for 4 nights a week: Monday - Wednesday & Saturday nights. Our crew is friendly with a teamwork mindset. The host is a critical part of our restaurant's operation, and we would love an enthusiastic new face.
Job requirements:
- Expertise with Resy reservation system
- Ability to multitask
- 2+ years hosting experience
Job responsibilities:
- Greeting guests.
- Taking and managing reservations.
- Managing a wait-list.
- Communicating wait times to guests.
- Managing the seating chart.
- Seating guests and distributing menus.
- Ensuring even cover distribution among servers.
- Delegating to-go orders.
- Confirming reservations.
Hours are 5pm-9pm on Monday-Wednesday, and 5pm-9:30pm on Saturday.
